January 8th - The facility is open. The Wellness Pool is also open!

• Young at Heart choir practice is cancelled today (Jan. 8th). Next week, practice will end at 11:45 a.m.

• Woodcarving is self-directed today (Jan. 8th).

• Renovations have started to update our Café. During this time, Marieke and the team plan to continue to offer services as normally as possible. Supper Club for children and youth participants after-school is available.

Horton Street 50+ Centre Update:

When there’s inclement weather, many of you are probaby wonder if we'll be open the next day. There are a lot of factors to consider and the primary factor is SAFETY.

Q: Will it be safe for you and staff to travel?

A: We won't know until the morning.

Here's how you can stay updated on what's going to happen, whenever there is inclement weather.

• Follow us on Facebook! We'll make a post as early as possible if we are CLOSED.

• Phone a friend! They might have seen/heard the news before you did.

• Check our website! Go to “What’s New” page and bookmark/favourite it/star it so you can easily come back to it tomorrow and refresh the page to see any updates.
