Summer Day Camps

Days of adventure are here!

Our summer day camp programs are designed to give each camper an opportunity to learn and grow while having the most fun imaginable. We offer programming for children aged 4 to 15 in London and aged 4 to 9 in Ilderton.

All of our camps include outdoor activities and out trips each week (weather permitting), and swimming at the Club!

We offer something for kids of all ages and abilities.

fees & Important Dates

Daily snacks and Friday lunches are included.

Camp Dates: June 30th to August 29th, 2025 (No camps on July 1st and August 4th, 2025)

Camp Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. *Extended care is available for an extra fee only in London.

Subsidy is available. If you are receiving a subsidy, you must be pre-approved for camp by your case worker; a $50 non-refundable registration deposit applies per camper (only for city subsidy/Ontario Works clients). If you are receiving subsidy, you must contact us to receive the registration form AND make sure you have profiles on RecDesk with membership(s) for each of your child(ren)/youth registering for camp.

Cancellations/Refunds: If you are canceling your camp registration, you must provide in writing a notice of the cancellation at least two (2) weeks before the camp week starts in order to receive a refund, minus a $25 administration fee per child per cancellation notice.

Camp Schedules: Registered families will receive a copy of the schedule in their e-mail prior to the start of the camp week. Paper copies are available for pick-up at sign-in at the beginning of each week. Please note that all schedules are subject to change due to a variety of factors including weather. We also ask that you send your child to camp with weather appropriate attire and footwear suitable for physical activity. You can see all camp schedules here.

Extended Care Sessions

Early Care (7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.)

$5 per day, per child or $25 per week

($20 per child per week for weeks 1 & 6)

Only available in London.

Early and After Care sessions are two separate sessions. Early Care ($25 per week, per child) + After Care ($25 per week, per child) = $50 per week per child total for Extended Care sessions.

    Adventure Ready

    Ages 6 to 12

    This camp combines indoor activities at the Club such as swimming and activity rooms and outdoor interests at various locations like ECO Park for fishing, canoeing (weather permitting), and a weekly out-trip.  Those who enjoy a mix of being outdoors and at the Club will have a variety of activities to participate in.

    All Stars

    Ages 6 to 12

    A variety of indoor/outdoor sports and active games at the Club and other venues for all abilities and interests.  Campers will enjoy swimming, use of activity rooms at the Club and occasional out-trips.

    Camp-a-Saurus & Explorers

    Ages 4 to 5

    For ages 4-5, with a ratio of 5:1, our younger campers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and events.  Active games, art, swimming, interactive/sensory activities, music are just a sample of what campers will experience. Through play and fun, campers will learn new skills and make new friends.  An out-trip, like Storybook Gardens, is planned each week. 

    There is no difference between the camps Camp-a-saurus and Explorers. Both offer the same experiences for camp participants but in a smaller group setting.

    Camp Discover

    Ages 12 to 15

    Each session will encompass a variety of different tasks, initiatives and learning opportunities.  Participants will engage in activities specific for ages 12-15.  Each week will include swimming, gym, out-trips and meeting new peers.

    Creative Arts

    Ages 6 to 9
    (W1-W8 only)

    Let your creativity and imagination run wild!  This camp explores a variety of different creative arts and music.  Campers will express their creativity and participate in activities like swimming, rooms such as Imagination Playroom, out-trips and other program areas.   Share your talent, be yourself and have fun while learning!

    G.A.M.E. Camp^

    Ages 7 to 11

    (G.A.M.E.) Games And Media Exploration Camp is the program emphasizing new gaming experiences! Discover new games and dig into old classics while developing cooperation skills, problem solving skills and sportsmanship. Tabletop, card, video and other games will be at the heart of our camp. Celebrate the games you love with crafts and activities which are centered around gaming. Switch gears and get active by joining in the gym games, swimming and other activities/out trips to challenge yourself mentally and physically. Feel free to leave the cards and consoles at home, we've got you covered!

    Kamp I Direct

    Ages 6 to 12

    This camp allows children to choose some of their activities for part of the day. At the start of the day, a morning and an afternoon stream of 3 activities are scheduled and children can sign up. These activities may include sports, crafts, science fun, music, active games and more. Campers do enjoy a daily routine of swimming with occasional out-trips.

    Ages 9 to 12
    (W1 - W8 Only)

    A variety of STEM-themed activities at the Club, with swimming and occasional out trips. 

    Week 1 - Out of this World 

    Week 2 - Mixed bag (Variety of different ideas like Grossology, Lights & Optics & Inventions) 

    Week 3 - Summer Fun & Sports!  

    Week 4 - Robotics, Lego & 3D printing  

    Week 5 - Mixed bag (Variety of different ideas like Science, Aircrafts & Brain Games) 

    Week 6 - Environment and Natural Disasters 

    Week 7 - Books & Movies 

    Week 8 - Mixed bag (Variety of different ideas like Create your own Roller Coaster, Math, Animals)

    Super Skills^

    Ages 6 to 9

    Social Skills are fun, interactive, and an inclusive way for children to learn about themselves. Super Skills Camp provides the opportunity for campers to build resilience, make friendships, gain confidence and learn practical life skills in a fun and welcoming environment.  Suitable camp for children who may have anxiety and struggle with large groups.  Activities also include swimming, program rooms at the Club and occasional out-trips.

    **No extended care sessions are available at this location.

    Participants enjoy a variety of games, crafts, and other fun activities with weekly themes such as Wild West, Sports, S.T.E.M. and much more!  One day each week, the BGCL bus will pick up campers in Ilderton for swimming and other activities at our London location – 184 Horton St. E. 

    **Please note that on Friday, July 11th and Thursday, August 21st, the camp will be held at the BRYANSTON Community Centre located at 15321 Plover Mills Rd., a 12-minute drive from the Ilderton arena.
